    MENA Power Projects Forum 2022 will focus on $250 billion power projects

    Investment in power projects in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) is expected to rise from 2021 to 2025 due to strong economic growth and a goal of net zero emissions by 2050. Regional and global power and utility providers are preparing for the MENA Power Projects Forum that will be held on September 7-8, 2022, at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers Hotel, Abu Dhabi, UAE. According to a report by Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation (APIcorp), the combined commitments and planned investments in the MENA power sector will exceed US$250 billion.

    MENA Power Projects Forum 2022 will focus on $250 billion power projectsAmong all energy sectors, it is the highest. Saudi Arabia is developing power projects worth nearly $60 billion, while Egypt has $37 billion in power projects. There are $26 billion worth of power projects under planning and development in the UAE, ranking third in terms of project value. At the MENA Power Projects Forum, more than 300 participants, including senior government officials, project owners, project managers, project developers, contractors, subcontractors, technology providers, utility suppliers, industry experts, and key stakeholders, will highlight the business opportunities in the power and utilities industry.
